How GeoSync AI handles the plan files, project records and account details you bring into your workspace.
Who we are
GeoSync AI is construction takeoff software built by EVERYTHINGCONSTRUCTION.AI. This policy explains what we collect inside your firm workspace, why we hold it, and the choices you have. Questions about anything on this page can go to hello@geosyncai.com.
What you give us
Account details: your name, email address and the password credential handled by our authentication service. Firm workspace details: firm name, industry, and the names, emails, roles and disciplines of the people you add to the workspace. Project records: project and client names, site addresses, jurisdictions and notes. Uploaded files: DXF exports, vector PDFs, KML and KMZ linework, survey and field-data exports, drone deliveries and photographs, together with the quantities, material assumptions, unit costs and reports produced from them.
Billing details
Subscriptions, additional seats and upgrades are processed by Stripe. We receive your plan, seat count, billing email and subscription status. We do not store full payment card numbers.
Information collected automatically
Device and browser type, IP address, the pages and features you use, and error and performance logs. We use this to keep the service secure, to support you when something goes wrong, and to improve reliability.
How we use it
To run your workspace: read your plan files, calculate quantities, produce reports and bid exports, and store the results you keep. To manage seats, acreage and project allowances and to bill your plan. To answer support requests. To protect the service against misuse and to improve it.
AI features
When you ask the takeoff coach or standards chat a question, your question and the related workspace records, or excerpts from the specifications you have indexed, are sent to our AI model provider to produce the answer. The house rules you teach and the ratings you give are stored in your workspace so the assistant can follow your firm. AI answers are working drafts for a professional to check, never verification of a field condition or plan detail.
Who processes it
We use service providers for hosting, storage and authentication (the Base44 platform), for payments (Stripe) and for AI features (model providers). Those providers process data only to run the service for us. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your plans to advertise to you.
Who can see your workspace
Members of your firm see the projects and records of that firm, with the access their role allows. Firm admins manage the workspace, its members and its plan. Records are isolated per firm, so people in another firm cannot read your plans or quantities.
How long we keep it
Workspace records are kept while your subscription is active, and afterwards for as long as we need them for legal, tax or dispute purposes. When you delete a file or project it is removed from the active workspace, and backup copies cycle out over time.
Security
Access is controlled by firm membership and role, records are restricted to their firm, and traffic to the service is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect, so we also recommend keeping plan files and credentials inside your own access controls.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the information held about you. Account removal requests can go to your firm owner or to us. Deleting your account removes your access; the projects and records belonging to the firm stay with the firm.
Children
GeoSync AI is a business tool for construction and engineering teams. It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
