Terms of use
The terms that apply to your GeoSync AI workspace, your subscription and the quantities the software produces.
Agreement
Using GeoSync AI means you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you use the software for a firm, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on that firm’s behalf.
Your workspace and accounts
Sign-in credentials are personal to each user. The firm owner administers the workspace, its members, roles and plan. You are responsible for the accuracy of the accounts you create and for keeping access secure, including removing people who should no longer have it.
Plans, seats and billing
Plans are billed monthly by Stripe and each plan includes a set number of seats together with project and acreage allowances. Additional seats, larger allowances and higher plans are available as add-ons or upgrades. Allowances are enforced, so work beyond them needs an upgrade. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time so access runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Prices exclude applicable taxes and may change with notice. Access may be suspended if a payment fails.
Your content, and the permission you give us
You keep ownership of the plans, survey data and records you upload. You give us permission to store, process, back up and display that content only to run the service for you: reading plan linework, calculating quantities, producing reports and exports, and showing results to your firm. You confirm you have the right to upload the plans you use, including any client or agency restrictions that apply to them.
AI answers and quantity outputs
Measurements are produced by reading drawing linework and contour data automatically. Automated reading can be wrong: sheets get resized or mis-scaled, loops stay open, layers are mis-tagged, units are assumed, and elevations arrive in the wrong datum or unit. Review every quantity against the plan before you rely on it. The takeoff coach is a drafting assistant for your estimating process. Nothing in GeoSync AI is engineering, surveying, legal, tax or financial advice, and a licensed professional must review and seal any design, report or bid where that is required.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful material, attempt to reach another firm’s records, bypass allowances or access controls, scrape or resell the service, reverse engineer it, or use it in a way that damages the service or other customers.
Services you connect
If you connect a third-party service, for example a drone or survey provider that delivers data to your workspace, that service’s own terms apply to it and you are responsible for the credentials and permissions you supply.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep GeoSync AI available and to improve it. Features may be added, changed or retired, and planned or emergency maintenance can interrupt access for a period.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end a workspace for non-payment, unlawful use or a breach of these terms. You may cancel your plan at any time. When a workspace ends, we may delete its data after a reasonable period, so export anything you need to keep.
Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, without warranties that outputs will be error free or suitable for a particular project.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from bids, estimates or construction decisions made using the software. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the provider is organised, and its courts hear any dispute. If your firm needs a countersigned agreement, contact us before subscribing.
Changes to these terms
We will post revisions on this page and they take effect when posted. Continuing to use the service means you accept them.
